Yeah now if they would get their 65nm process rolling sometime soon and drop those prices to something a little more affordable I'd be all over it. However I have but little money to spend.

Don't get 4800+, get 4200+ instead, it's much cheaper and performance is 90% of 4800+.

And at 530$ it's not ridicuously expensive.
If you want bigger L2 to improve gaming then get 4400+ at 580$.
How many people do you know that spend that kind of money on a CPU alone... I'm talking to Intel dual core prices here. Drop them to $300 or so and it'd be much more attractive not to mention they'd probably get more revenue that way as well.
