HP 23 vs Viewsonic 24

I would like some opinions on which way to go between these two. I will be using a dvi plug. I do not game online, I surf, stream vids, etc. I have external speakers, so speakers are not an issue. I'm running a GTS250 vid card, and can hook up vga,hdmi, and DVI. I'm not sure how much of a difference there will be between a 23" and 24". I am looking for best pic/longevity. I am currently running a 20" Dell, so either will be an upgrade. Looking for best bang for the buck, and best viewing area, but I want it to last. Thanks for all suggestions.

I can only speak to the HP 2311X... I have two of these at work and like them... so much that I bought two for the home desktop I built yesterday. They perform well for me.
