I have not used me before, but i was trying to help a friend modify a sof2 config file. Yes this may be construed as a sytem file extension.
When i try to open this file it warns that it is dangerous blah blah and offers to either open the file or download it (the darn thing is already on the system!).
so i click open...but the same message comes up ..again and again. I don't understand this bizarre behaviour.
it was easy enough to rename the file/make the changes/rename it back..
but i would really like to know why win ME does this and how do i get it to STOP IT!
