Juz bought a new system amd 2800 64, asus k8n, transcend 512 mb 400 mhz,

xp says that cpu speed is 1.8 Ghz which is fine but cpu z says its 803 mhz, so i installed 3d mark it says the Internal Clock is 804.0 MHz and Internal Clock Maximum is 1.8 GHz. The multiplier is 4 which i think is very low.

Is this normal or something wrong with my cpu or mobo.???

You shouldn't remove cool&quiet. Just make sure the CPU speed is normal when it's necessary (running CPU intensive applications) and you'll be alright with cool and quiet enabled.

tweebel is right.

CPU underclocks when it can, and it will give you full power when you need it.
Try it, enable cool'n quiet and runs some CPU intensive applications.
