I would like to know the same thing. and a few more things like average DL. speeds from different places bandwith test results. that type of stuff. Cable or DSL is at least 2 years off for me. So this could be a great alternative plus prices are dropping on the directPC systems so its not a super expensive alternative. But i dont want to spend the money and find out my gaming ping didnt improve or that my DL rates are only 3k faster. So please anyone with info cough it up 
I don't have any first-hand knowledge, but I do remember reading about it. From what I understand it is horrible for gaming. I guess because of the distances involved, your ping would be around 1000ms. It is suposed to be good for downloading, because once it begins downloading, it is really fast. I don't actually have a number. Iwould try posting your messege here:
