Sleep and charge, music help

Just wanted to know how to use the sleep and charge and sleep and music function in my satellite a665 laptop

i tried running windows media player and then hit the sleep botton but that fail so now im here asking for your help!

Sleep for the computer means, store all program data in ram, turn off hard drive and monitor, apply minimal power to ram to hold data and minimal power to CPU so that it will just sense a wake command. Hence the computer is asleep.

Charge is for the battery
Media player has nothing to do with the others.

Well the question stands how can you use the Sleep music function and sleep charge function that the computer has and advertises

Might want to check the manual.

There are many things it can mean. My old P1 system could in fact sleep and play music at the same time. But that was only CD-Audio and it was the CD drive doing all the work and the sound card happened to keep going when the system slept.

Sleep charge may refer to one or more USB ports being active even when the system is in sleep mode allowing you to charge a usb device(Cell,MP3 ect). I have seen this advertised on some systems(hell most modern desktops always have USB power, but they do not rely on a battery).
