Erm, I think the test is finished...
I like this quote
Quote :
While the comparison isn't completely fair, since the AMD product is a production system and the Intel systems were still early samples, we still got a lot out of the exercise.
Thats weird I tought the Intel 840 EE was released more than a month ago...uhuh
(EDIT)Oh right I think their talkind about the 955 SLI board..
And why the intel systems were? Oh right they needed a few of them cuz they kept burning!!

Well you have to agree that if you run farcry, winrar, a audio encoder AND a divx encoder...your much better off with the Intel rig for divx encondinh =). Especially if you "can't" change the process priority!!!
And as spacedonkey will tell you, this is a real life test, stuff that you do everyday all the time!
If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will go wrong first will be the one that will do the most possible damage
I keep my opinion; THG team is the only place to turn an Advantage in a Disadvantage.
Threads Priorities are good, for example, If you run Folding@home all the time you know that You can't play games with a Hyper Transport Pentiun 4 because you going to have the Game competing against the Foldin@home (FAH.exe) process, even with the FAH.exe at Lowest Priority
Now they say that AMD is not good for video encoding, what a shame, Where did they bought their technician certificate?
