To buy or not to buy a new CPU?

Hi,

I've recently bought a new Geil DualChannel Memory set and an Abit VT7 motherboard to support them. I also consider switching my old P4 1.7GHz with a P4 Northwood with fsb800, while my old processor has fsb400.
This new CPU costs $115. Is having a higher FSB to match the memory worth spending $115?
Thanks for your comments

Depends on the speed of the Northwood CPU you are getting. I think all fsb800 Northwoods run at >2.8 Ghz, that would add a lot of speed.

Ok. But I was rather thinking about the FSB, not the Core frequency.
