Athlon 64 FSB speeds

Why are some Ahlon 64's I see listed on Newegg.com listed as having a '1 Ghz FSB' while others say 'integrated into chip'?
What's the difference? Was there an archetecture change in the A64?

That's confusing, (or maybe just because it's friday) then which one is correct?

The answer is: yes, yes, yes, and yes.


Yes it's integrated on the chip.
Yes it's 1000 mhz.
Yes it's 2000 mhz.
Yes it's confusing.

It's an up to 1000 mhz contoller integrated into the die of the chip using hyper transport; sometimes stated as 2000 when taking the full duplex bit into account.

And the only differece is in the way it's stated, who's saying it, and what they're comparing it to. That way they can use the numbers to best suit their argument or sales tactic.
