Not having enough space to use the brackets to mount the vault doors on my
Safe Cracker, I bought some nylon lift off hinges from McMaster Carr. They
work and look great (at least until I have more space to spread my wings).

Very cool. I like that idea for space. How far do they hinge back and
forth?

It's more than 90 degrees of movement from as far back as perpendicular to
the backbox.

I didn't drill any extra holes. I just used 1 #8-32 screw per hinge side
that is mounted to the backbox and left the other mounting hole empty which
was more than sufficient. The hinge side that is mounted to the wings is
mounted on the end instead of to the rear so the hinges would work better.
