Cannon pixma 5000i will not print red blue or yellow

cannon pixma 5000i will not print red blue or yellow ????
deep clean 50 odd times
normal clean lots of times
bottom plate clean
print blocks of colours
only black prints
tanks full
top tape pulled off enough

Open the printing preference dialog and check on the "Color" tab (I'm assuming you use Windows). There's a box there labeled "Print in Grayscale". Make sure that it IS NOT checked.

If that's not the problem, check that the ink cartridges are properly installed. There will be a tape one the cartridges over the part where ink is released, check that it has been completely removed.
