Lost admin rights?

Its weird...im running 2000pro of course and lately it Seems ive been losing my adminstrative rights, for instance i cant move my icons on my desktop around anymore , nor put them in folders. I scanned for viruses, spyware, and i downloaded all the windows ugprades, and i went to users/passwords and ensured my adminstrator position, help please. Hm..basically the only problem i have is not being able to move icons period.

Amd Xp 2500+
1 gig of pc2700 RAM
Asus A7n8x-e Deluxe
Nvidia BFG 6800 OC
Samsung 19" SyncMaster 955df

Right click on desktop -> Arrange Icons -> 'Auto Arrange'. Make sure it's unticked... :tongue:
