First Gaming Rig need Monitor input

Hey guys, Ive been scouting the internet these past few days deciding on the type of monitor I want to get for my first ever gaming rig. The specs of the rig are as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($159.99 @ Microcenter)

Any suggestions for the monitors?
Looking to pay $160 max but must have:
- FullHD 1080p
- 2-5ms (does it make a big difference?)
- HDMI
- 21.5-22 inches (maybe 23 but pushing it)
- LED
What else do I look for in a gaming monitor?

At the moment ive been checking out these monitors: Pros/Cons would help too please. Ive checked some reviews already i just want more info before i jump the gun.

Between the three you posted I would pick the VE228H (It has built in speakers yay?). It's one of the monitors I own and really enjoy it.

If you don't have to buy right away, watch prices on the VS229H-P. I know it is a little above your price range currently but I think a few weeks ago it was down around your target. IPS tech for around $170 is a steal.

The one you linked seemed really good but my question for you is how does IPS differ from TN i know theres a big difference but could you give me the pros/cons of both sides?

IPS have better color and viewing angles. However they are typically rated a little slower on the response times. I have an 8ms gtg (U2412M) and can barely notice any sort of ghosting. They also have the typical "IPS glow" in the corners. Again, I think this is a non issue because you almost always have something displayed on the screen. If an IPS panel is in the budget, take that over a TN panel.
