Hi All,
I am thinking about bringing this for sale if anyone is interested....
thought I'd throw it up on the group here. This is the last piece that
Skee Ball made before they were bought out by Lazer Tron or ICE or
whoever the hell bought them out. If you look it up in the Mr Pinball
price guide, it shows that there is no idea of how many were made.
However, when I called for tech support, the guy couldn't believe that
I had one, and said that he only knew of 13 that were in existance.
It is kind of a neat ticket dispensing game where you have 2 racecars
on the backboard, and 2 pinball playfields, side by side. 1 or 2
players play, and the balls are served from the outhole area. Each
time you hit a target, your car moves faster. First car that reaches
the end (or the first player to hit the most targets) wins the game.
It is a quick game, lasting about 10-15 seconds, but each playfield has
a ramp, 3 pop bumpers, and traffic light targets ala High Speed. The
playfields themselves are each about 1/2 the size of a regular
playfield. All of the components used on the fields are Williams made.
I don't want to bring it if there is no serious interest in it... it is
tall (roughly 7 1/2 to 8 ft), and about as deep as a pin, but easily
seperates into 2 pieces. It is roughly 3 1/2 feet wide. Cosmetically,
it is in ok shape... no wear on the fields, and the cab is about an 8.
I would like to get 995 for it. It is on location, and I can get pics
of it on Friday if anyone is seriously interested in it.
