wit ha weak powered atom netbook.. try the simple stuff first. make sure java and flash are up to date. make sure intel video chipset driver is up to date. if the netbook can take another dimm. install it and make the new dimm max out the onboard shared video ram.

Update windows .Automatically detect and install latest best driver and fix all issues.
Update bios.
Update hdd/ssd firmware.
If the video quality is low in file u get low Quality.
try vlc media player and klite mega codec pack.
