Hi, I just got a PalmPilot (Tungsten3) and a wireless
keyboard.

The keyboard is really nice but it's causing me endless
troubles.

Sometimes it works, but most often it doesn't, and I
can't find out why.

I go in the 'Keyboard' icon, 'General' and tap

-> keyboard driver
-> keyclicks (I like the sound)

then it says:

You have enabled the driver and I tap

- Wireless Keyboard

and OK

Then I go to 'Wireless Config' and tap
'Detect Wireless Keyboard'.

Shouldn't it work everytime? Am I doing anything
wrong? Or do I miss something?

There is nothing wrong mechanically, I actually got
a new Palm, because I convinced the salesman, that
something was wrong. But the problems prevail. So
it must be me ... :-(

Dear Vidal.

You should go to:

http://www.thinkoutside.com/support

and download the new driver, that will no doubt
change things for you. :-)

Is the original palmOne Infrared Keyboard you are talking about or the newer
palmOne Universal Wireless Keyboard? I don't see a model on ThinkOutside's
website similar to the newer 5-row P1UWK.

It's the four row version.

Does anyone know who makes the new 5-row version? I've been trying to find
out who makes it so I can check for more recent drivers.
