I bought a HP DV9700 pavilion laptop in June 2008. Recently the thing just quit powering up. I see the lights on the keyboard light up then shuts off. When I call HP tech support, all their concerned about is me purchasing a weeks worth of software support or sending it in for $400. I paid $1000 for this and thing, it should last longer than that. I am going to buy them reburbished from now on and I gaurantee they won't be HP!!
Is there a class action lawsuit for this out there somewhere? If not, there should be! There ripping consumers off!
