Get Venice of San Diego?

This Althon processor needs to OC to at least 4000+ speeds. Which one to get?

i would say SD for its larger cache but i have no idea of its OC capaibilities

For the $$$, Im thinking of getting a Venice Core like the 3200. Read reviews that it can easily oc to 3800-4000 speeds.

I've seen venice get up to 2.7ghz which is way above the 2.4 of 4000+. For the best value you're better off getting the venice, plus the lowest san diego is the 3700+.

If it wasnt for me being on a cruch to get my rig up an runnin, Id get a sandy chip with the extra chace but right now Im planning to get the 3200 venice. Even if I can only get 2.4ghz out of the chip, it still be better than a mobile barton at 2.94ghz.

Since Im jumping straight into SLI yet, I will get the thermalright xp120 eventually and really see if I get the chip to high that hich C.

Using the DFI lanparty nf4sli

ya going SLI? if not then the Lanparty NF4 UT ultra-DR is cheaper or ultra-D for even cheaper, they are the smae thing just that sli got sli, dr gets 8 SATA conectors (4@3 gb transfer 4 at 1.5) and d gets 4 SATA (2@3bg transfer, 2@1,5)

I went with the 3200 venice. And have it at 2.4Ghz right now it runs great. it will probably go higher but haven't pushed it yet

Yeah I might in the future so that why I got the SLI mobo. I know the non SLI verveion could be modded into SLI but Im too lazy to do that and take precious time out of toasting my cpu.

Ive also ready alot that the SLI version can OC better on the FSB than the nonSLI.

The reviews kept saying such and that they have reserved to good chips for the SLI versions since they are most likely to need them anyways. Pull up a revie on the non SLI version and you'll see the whine.
