I need a flash player and get one i have a acer netbook aspire one lap

i can download flash player but when i try to install it a box pops up saying patch error unavailable or asks for a password which i d not know please help me

Strange. Which version of flash (i.e. 32 or 64 bit) are you trying to install and on what browser?

i have an acer aspire one netbook aswell and flash dosent seem to be installing i have firefox and it asks me about a "root" password i dont know what to do help !!?
