Anyone out there have experience checking pins when they are delivered?
Just wondering the main things to look at. The possible things that
could get damaged during shipment. and how long the driver will wait
while you check it out.
As you can see this is the first pin I ever bought that is being
shipped to me.
BTW it is a Funhouse!
Thanks

Check the hinges to the backbox. I had one shipped legs on and
something pushed against the head and bent one of the hinges. They
reimbursed me for the hinge replacement as well as a lock replacement
as the keys were lost and they had been taped to the machine when it
left. I was surprised they reimbursed me for the lock/key replacement
because obviously this was the sellers fault for poor packaging.

So kudos to NAVL even though it is a small thing pricewise they took
care of me without question and claim turnaround on getting the check
took about 3 weeks I'd say. Nice.

Well thanks for the input. I hope the seller packaged it good. He said
they wrapped it in blankets real good when it left. He was supposed to
send the legs seperately and was supposed to wrap the backbox with
bubble wrap but with one or two word responses every time I email him
I'm not sure what to expect. I'll keep my fingers crossed....Larry

I had a few pins delivered through NAVL but was at work. They left it on a
giant tarp I bought at Lowe's and I left a note to leave it around back, and
wrap in case a thunderstorm came through. I made sure the seller wrapped
the pin correctly before it left to come here. No incidents. Again, it's
how it's wrapped. A seller from California shipped a Grand Prix to me using
his trucking company. A small chunk of wood was taken off the head of the
game from the straps he used. Other than that, no problems ever, including
North American.

I imagine they will wait around a couple minutes for you to inspect it, but
maybe not to unwrap the whole thing. They have tight schedules.

Hey, congrats on the Funhouse. I am an EM guy, but if I had to sell all my
pins, I would keep Fun house at least. Rudy is a riot.
