XP, hibernate

When i start my computer from hibernate mode, the sound card does not work. I have win XP. Anybody have any ideas? Is this a driver problem?

its a windows problem. ive seen lots of computers that will not work correctly after being in hibernation. i just set mine to never hibernate.

What sound card? In my experience, it's usually a driver problem. For me, when I get out of hibernation, everything is fine. But now that I'm running a webserver on my main computer, I leave it running. (Sorry, that was OT.)

What are you system specs? Be specific. See my system rig listing for an example.

What about those computers that you've seen, that has never worked with hibernation? Are they Dell computers or something? j/k
