Acer Aspire One notebook power failure

Was using laptop and it said battery low, but was plugged in and powered on. Went into hibernation and closed down and will not recognise the power supply to it...what to do??? Teh battery links blinks orange when I try to tourn it on but thats all. Have removed battery and put back in etc but will not turn on depsite the power supply

Have you tried removing the battery and disconnecting power supply adapter and then pressing the start button. Sometimes clears these issues.
