Hello toms,
My knowledge in audio settings and connections is very poor.
I purchased a used ASUS Xonar essence ST and Sennheiser PC 360 headset.
This is mostly for playing computer games (BF3, Batman AC, WOW, Skyrim, etc) and a little bit of music.
I have the mic and headphone connected to the front panel of my CM storm trooper case which I think is digital output.
The front panel is connect via cable to the sound card.
1)Is this the best way to connect my headset for the best sound quality?
2)Should I have the mic-headset hooked up directly on the sound card by using a 3.5mm connector into the 1/4" socket?
3)Are there other settings I should tweek in the Control panel for my sound card other than 192 KHz sample rate?
Thanks in advance for the help
