Why cant i copy and paste from a website using ie8

Hello,

I'm wondering if there is a solution to this problem in IE8.

I have a user who accesses a bill payment website system, she then wants to copy and paste the text conformation for record purposes. This use to work find until the user pc was upgraded to Win7 and IE8. We have tried several options with settings and nothing has worked so far. I notice a quick Google search seems to indicate others have had this same type of issues with IE 8 as well.

I can't seem to locate a reason why it's not working.

It could be one of the many, many faults of IE8 in general. Have you tried running IE8 in Compatibility Mode and see if that helps. You can enable it by clicking on the icon next to the address bar that looks like a sheet of paper that is cut in half.

If that doesn't help, you might wanna consider using Firefox or Chrome.
