Umm, does that processor bottleneck our graphic card?
See, if you like 16:10 and you want to save more money, you can get the hannspree one, it's OK-ish I can say. But if you are willing to spend more on HP product which is more a known brand and dislike the 16:10 that is on the hannspree model, get the HP one definitely. If it is me and I can pay for the HP one, I will get the HP definitely. But there is a better choice my friend, look at this:
It has almost the same features, it's ASUS (as you know ASUS is a very reliable brand, even though it's not as famous as HP, it's still a very solid/good monitor) and also cheaper. You can get this and it will be fine for you to consider.
First off, no my processor does not bottleneck my video card. Video card runs well. I actually really like the triple core processors. Anyways, I have not heard anything about that particular Asus monitor so I will look it up, thanks for the advise. I was really leaning toward the HP 2711x for the bright view feature as I looked at one today and the glossy screen sure made the colors and sharpness stand out among the other Matte finish monitors. Glare is not really a problem for me so it looks amazing. On the other hand people in these forums keep saying if your not going for IPS then go for the Hanns G for the 1920x1200 res over the HPs 1080p. I am not sure how much of a difference it will make to me as I have never owned a 1920x1200 and at 27.5 inches how much of a difference would it appear to be side by side with the HP 2711x which is a 1920x1080. Thanks for any and all input guys, thanks.
