Viewsonic VX2235wm blue power light flashes and black screen

Monitor will now display a regular screen. The blue light flashes constantly. I only see a black screen.

Can you provide some more details?

On-board VGA or separate graphics card? If you are using a separate graphics card, then the monitor must be connected to the graphics card, and the on-board graphics must be disabled in the BIOS (on some motherboards).
