I found the article this morning and thought I would share it. It has to do with what Intel may be doing for the next generation of processors. Granted we'll probably know for sure after next weeks IDF conference but speculation is always fun.

Nice read, I'm interested to see how accurate the predictions will be.

Sounds nice on paper, but (as always) it's speculation.

And talking about "Intel's next generation", <A HREF="http://theinquirer.net/?article=25499" target="_new">here's</A> a gem at the Inquirer.

After reading this, it's still incredible that there're still people who believes that Intel's dual core solutions are better than AMD's.

Shame on you Intel.

The inquiror will write a more likly story closer to the launch of the thing as they always do. They just like to stir things up with a lot of speculation. If there is any truth to this new type of processor then this would definatly justify intel sitting around with it's thumb up its ass for the past 4 years with netburst.

id get a 3 watt consuming processor if it were from intel and cheap and acceptable performance.

To me it doesn't matter who makes the best processor - I'd buy it.

The only problem I have with that, is that my definition of "best" includes a somewhat ethical manufacturer, and sometimes you just have to buy Intel.

When do you have to buy Intel?
