Very unlikely. You could try to see if you can get the latest drivers for the display adapter, but I doubt that that would help. Other than that, you could try editing the drivers which would most likely also be unsuccessful - those are about your options... more trouble than it's worth in my opinion, and you probably won't get it to work anyway. Thanks for you advice. It looks like the only way to do this, is to connect the laptop to an external monitor. I assume this is also the case with newer models...
Definitely not, most notebooks built after at least 2000 will be able to scale up a lower resolution to full screen, but that is more driver dependant.
