I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and no soundy speakers.

I don't know anything about computers. I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. At times I have been able to play a song (from itunes or a youtube video but now I can't get any sound from the speakers. I tried downloading the realtek drivers but it still doesn't work. I have a Sony Vaio
