Hi, I'm looking for a laptop for college that can handle some light gaming

1. What is your budget?
under 800
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
15 inch or under
3. What screen resolution do you want?
doesn't really matter
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
portable
5. How much battery life do you need?
at least 5 hours of normal usage
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
well some light gaming will be nice. I mostly play games a few years old so it doesn't have to be super powerful
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
i have an external so doesn't really matter. at least 100 gig i guess
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
at least 2 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
dvd burner would be nice but not necessary. no need for bluray
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
i prefer non-hp. all the hp laptops i've have some kind of problems down the road in a year or so
13. What country do you live in?

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
as small and light as possible while still having a dedicated card.

Hi there,

You should check out the Sony Vaio EB series. It has a 15.5" screen, a powerful processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 500 GB of hard drive space. It is great for productivity and watching movies. It's also within your budget!
