Hey,
Im looking for a laptop for around 700$. I looked for like 3 hours but im not sure what graphics card i need to be able to run 25 man raids ( on low settings). I appreciate any advice you have.

Only requirements I have are
-screen size no bigger than 15.6 inch
-would like to be able to play World of warcraft on it when im not home(by play i mean do 25 man raids). I dont care if i have to turn everything to low as long as i get around 20 fps in 25 man raids.

Thanks

I'm guessing you want something around 700 including tax and shipping. Disregard last post.

If you can live having a 17" screen
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applica [...] 7&CatId=17

If you can live with refurbish
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applica [...] 1&CatId=17

two notes regarding graphics:
260m GT > 9800m GTS > 5650 Mobility

9800m GTS = ~46% better than 5650 Mobility
260m GT = ~7% better than 9800m GTS ; ~56% better than 5650 Mobility

all three laptops should be able to play WoW on max settings even in 25 man.

And just I ordered this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6834115857

No clue if it is any good as it is new but specs are better than anything I could find at that price. Would cost you $14 shipping so $714 delivered and is 15.6". It has a i5 460 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 420M with 1GB, 500GB HD.

Oops, I had the wrong price, it is $714 delivered not $814.

5650>420

jrfreak's is better than than the amd one i posted. although its $100 more.
460m>n830

here's the same one from newegg but it has two gpus in this one.

apparantly it's not hybrid sli. it's switchable graphics.
the intel hd is for power saving while the 5650 is for full gaming. one is turned on while the other one is off.

i think jrfreak's has this same feature although it isn't mentioned there.

all in all, this is worth the extra money if you're doing more than just gaming.

P.S.
dont forget to get a cooling pad if you plan to play wow on max settings.
