Just a note for those looking at newegg's sale on Pentium D 820 and 830 CPUs:
Unfortunately, the nForce4 SLI Intel Edition doesn't work properly with Intel's most affordable dual-core processors, the Pentium D 820 and 830. The Pentium D 820 and 830 will run in nForce4 SLI Intel Edition boards, but only in single-core mode, which is a waste.
To get actual dual core functionality, you need the $1000 extreme edition 840, which is what Tomshardware used in their recent benchmark. The $250 and $350 Pentium D 820 and 830 will run singlecore only.
