I think its safe to say that my OC time has been taken away for now. On the bright side, the system had rain pour in on it but it fired up with no problems.

Where are you staying at the moment out of interest? Do you live in one of the flooded parts of NO? Man from what ive seen on the news the last few days musta been damn hard.
Whats up with the bunny wars? I have seen this again and again.
Beats the ever-loving fur out of me. I'm not sure why it started. I'm even less certain why it's continued. All I know is that I invented Cedrik because the other bunnies looked more like mutant hamsters or something to me ... and it's grown too demented for me not to enjoy it. <pre><font color=orange> ∩_∩

I live in South MS. We dont have the flooding that NO has but we were actually hit alot harder. It has totally destroyed the coast and everything is devastated all the way to central Ms. I lost my home and Rugger lost his, I know that RichPLS has flooding damage probably even worse.

Its being worked on now. I left about 4 hours before the bad weather started. I only went 30 miles north to the town I was born in. I stayed with my grandparents and mother. The storm devastated that town also. I was actually out in the storm for at least 80% of the really bad weather. Keep in mind that we arent on the coast or near the MS. river. The water was filling the ditches and drains so fast that it coming towards the house. I had to use the fire wood to build a DAM just to devert the water. It worked. Ive got some pics that I will post later. If anyone would have been at my home and especially if they would have been sitting around my table, they wouldnt still be here. One limb that came through went all the way through the chair.

I wasnt thinking, I should have caught that one. NO certainly has that problem, and having seen how 100's of ants clump together to survive and mantain the colony it scares me to think of what 1000 fire ants would be like. Ive thought about this even before the storm hit. Its almost impossible to drown ants so they would form huge clumps in NO. If you were stranded on a roof top when one of the clumps floated up to you, theres not much you can do other than jump in the contaminated water. Either way, it would be really bad.
