Issues with creating new OS Partition

Hello there, I had a question concerning creating a new os partition for my computer. I currently use Windows 7 64-bit and have divided the computer up into multiple partitions across two drives. I recently got a new SSD and want to erase the old OS partition and use the SSD drive for a new OS partition. But the problem is I have many applications and games on a separate partition than the OS partition, and am wondering if there's a way to wipe the old OS partition and create the new one and still have all the applications and games run as they did before without having to reinstall them all. Or would it just be a better idea to just erase my Applications partition as well as the OS partition, and then recreate them both and reinstall everything that way?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

You should disconnect all drives but the SSD format and install the OS then all programs. then reconnect the other drives.
