Viewing pictures without having to upload to computer

Hello, I want to
view pictures that are on my sd card without having to import them. But when I insert my sd card and select view pictures using windows live photo gallery, I get this error message

An error is preventing the photo or video from being displayed. Error code: 0x80010108

Any input would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance
