Hi, I'm deciding if i should get a better monitor (1920x1080) or a ssd for storage. I already have a monitor that is a 1680x1080. Would i see a difference in graphics if i upgraded. I am wondering which one would be better in the long run.
My current specs are

CASE-Corsair Special Edition White Graphite Series 600T

PSU-CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX850 (CMPSU-850AX) 850W ATX12V v2.31

CPU-Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz

GPU-EVGA geForce gtx 570 HD

MOBO-GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H LGA 1155 Intel Z77

HDD-500 gb seagate

MONITOR-GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H LGA 1155 Intel Z77

(sorry if i posted in the wrong section)

i never knew they made a 1680x1080 monitor..... thats a first to me. generally speaking what you would gain with a 1920x1080 is a bit of extra width. night and day difference? not unless you bought a high end monitor. it will be better for sure and 1920x1080 is more common of a resolution for game cut scenes, movies, video.

why would you buy a ssd for storage and use a hdd for booting? the ideal thing would be to use the ssd as a boot drive to increase your system performance and make your hdd a data drive. this would require reinstalling windows. well i suppose you could transfer it with a program but i never trust doing it that way. 80gb should be enough for average users as a boot drive.

as for which to get, thats entirely up to you.
