How to disable color ink cartridges in HP8600

When I print from the web, I only want things in black and white. How do I disable the color ink cartridges?

I don't know if you have worked out the solution to your question yet but if not and are running windows Vista, Go into control panel select printers, Right click on your defult printer or the printer you want to make print black and white, select properties, advanced tab, printing defaults, in colour options select the print in greysacle button, then OK, and you are done.
