I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit onto a Samsung 840 250GB SSD and whenever I shutdown using the start menu, it'll say Shutting Down.. for about 10-15 minutes, then BSOD and give me "Driver Power State Failure". However, when I have Windows on my Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB HDD, it shutdown correctly and no BSOD. I have the same drivers and such and have updated them all to the latest. Also updated the BIOS and SSD firmware. On the SSD, if I press the Case reset button while it says shutdown, it'll boot up in three seconds with no problems without the black Windows shutdown error screen.

SSD is in AHCI mode.

Here's a link to the BSOD files: http://www.mediafire.com/?2hye1p62vshvj6b

I've also tried my PC on Balanced with never sleep, never turn off HDD, and no hybrid sleep as well as Performance with the same settings as I've read SSDs don't fare well with Sleep and Hibernate.
