Battery inquiry

hi, i have an acer aspire 3050, and i\'m not happy with its battery life span, i need a battery that last me for at least 7 to 8 hours, is there a battery of that kind for my module?

Acer has a heavy duty battery 6 cell that lasts 2.6 hours compaired to the normal battery that lasts 1.5 hours. Some new netbooks claim to have a 8 hour battery life I googled "8 hour battery netbook" and saw a few. what are you doing that need 8 hours and can you live with a netbook not notebook and dvd.
