My mfc-j410w printer won\'t print black it prints blue, why?

Remove the Black Cartridge and wipe the print heads on the Cartridge with a soft tissue to see if any ink comes out if so look and see that the ink trail is even and uniformed, if so check and clean the print heads on your machine (refer to your user manual) if the Black cartridge head dose not display a clean even trail on the tissue, let the cartridge stand on the Tissue (you may to use several Tissues as this can be messy) for ten minutes or so till the ink flows free, Clean cartridge and reinstall.
