ok so i got a E6 (whatever that is) venice 3200+ last week...

i got it up to 2.4ghz prime95 stable at 1.5volts. yea it kinda sucks, but hey its still an overclock. still 38degrees under load, and around 30 idle.

I am wondering what is the highest safe voltage is for this core? ANd what is stock? thanks in advance :)

Before you go upping the voltage more, how about some details. My 3200 is @ 2.45, at the same voltage, with a 4X HTT, and 5/6 mem divider (pc3200), on a stock fan. It will do 2.5, now that the room is below 30c, but why bother.

we are exactly the same. wierd!

4xHTT, 5/6 memeory divider cause my ram also wont overclock ;)

ON THE STOCK FAN! FREAKY MAN! oh and im on a nforce4 ultra mobo that has overclocked to 290fsb in someone elses box. so the mobo isnt going to be a limiting factor.

how much higher do you think the voltage is safe to go? oh, and are venice cores stock at 1.35v? thanks mate

Mine calls 1.4v stock, though the range is 1.35-1.4 I tried 1.55, but it did nothing for me except add heat. Scotchen had his @ 1.85, but that was on water.
I know I need a better cooling solution, since mine is hitting 50c while folding.
