PM740 vs PM 760 Tags: CPUs Laptops Performance Product Last response: October 31, 2005 10:31 PM in CPUs Share neo314 October 31, 2005 8:12:53 PM I am looking at a laptop with a PM740 1.75 GHz vs a PM760 2.0 GHz. The difference in price is about $100. I'm trying to get a feel for the real performance difference. Is it relatively linear as in 1/7th faster for $100, or is there more to the equation? More about : pm740 760 endyen October 31, 2005 10:31:46 PM It's not linear. The other components have a lot to do with performance. A lot depends on usage. If you are looking at something with a lot of horsepower, a DTR is probably a better idea. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
