Windows Installer corrupting

Hello, My windows 7 install corrupts every few weeks. I have no idea what could be making this happen. Windows just stops being able to install updates, and also I can't launch steam anymore. The only way I have found to fix it is to do a clean install of windows, but it always comes back after a few weeks. I have done this 6 or 7 tomes now. Can somebody please help?

CD/DVD?
Flash Drive?
Recovery Partition?
Created Image?
