New graphics card drivers dont work

When i install the drivers from the disk it says "Installation Complete (warning occurred during installation). View log for details." Then when i view the log it says:
AMD Display DriverFinal Status: Fail
Version of Item: 9.002.0.0000
Size: 90 Mbytes
and
HDMI/DP Audio DriverFinal Status: Fail
Version of Item: 7.12.0.7708
Size: 1 Mbytes
I cant seem to fix this ive tried different thing, restarted, uninstalled and re installed and non of them are working.
At the bottom it says:
Error messages
Driver Install: Windows® version does not support this operation
Driver Install: Windows® version does not support this operation
Driver Install: Windows® version does not support this operation
Driver Install: Windows® version does not support this operation

But i am installing the version for windows 7

Have you tried just download the latest Catalyst drivers from the AMD website? By the time a video card hits store shelves, the drivers on the bundled CD are usually several iterations out of date.

I have, same problem. The graphics card doesn't work. Gives the same error after installation.
