HDMI 2 on TV worked well with my computer before, so why is it not working now?

Please provide more details, such as what you mean by not working. Blank screen, something else? What are you now connecting to it?

The TV is still not showing up anything. I'm connecting it to a new Toshiba laptop with a HDMI 2 cord

push the FN key and the f-key with the two boxes on it to swap your laptops display modes. also check what input the tv is on..

other than that....you would need to provide detailed information on what your situation is and what you have tried. two sentences is not enough.
