Windows 7 installation

Hello, I earleir installed windows 7 on my new ssd. Now i want to get rid of the previous version on my old hard drive to use as storage. Do i have to do anythign special to to remove it, it does list a boot option before getting into my new windows 7,

  1. You can go into Disk Management and delete the old drive's partition and then recreate a new partition on the old drive and format it. This will get rid of that drive's listing as a bootable drive.
  2. If your computer boots fine using the SSD then I would say you are in the clear to format your old drive.
