[SOLVED] Removeable Disk on MP3

Hello,
I am not savvy with the new electronic gadgets and am trying to transfer songs from my itunes on my Mac to my granddaughters MP3. I get her icon on my computer and drag the songs into it but when we try to play them on the MP3 it says the disk is empty. The instructions say to transfer them to the "removable disk" and I am not certain that I have the right icon. Would appreciate any help as she is 5 and anxious to use her MP3!

Stuff that you buy off iTunes has DRM built in to it which may limit what devices you can transfer it to. Stuff that you have ripped from a CD should work.
