AMD vs Intel

I am not a big gamer, mostly into mpeg-2, DVD, and other video and audio files. Any suggestions on processors, motherboards, and video cards?

AMD, Abit KT7/Asus A7V, ATI Radeon/GeForce (just to keep GeForce fans happy). However in terms of quality Matrox is the best, but sucks in games. Really.

i would go with intel a there P3 chip will stand the test of time, i dont think there will be a P4

god i loved the 90's i had a Emashine we got it 99 and it game with win98 and some other crap we loved that thing haha it was great but now in days its worth ah SH!7
