Should I get the Asus VG278H or wait?

Alright, so my computer computer is an AMD Phenom II X4 and a radeon 5770, I really wanted to get Nvidia 3D Vision 2. So i was going to do a full on computer upgrade, and get a new motherboard, an i5 2500k, and an gtx 580. My question is I currently have a asus 25", but I really wanted to experience 3d, I've heard it makes games and movies feel amazing and like you're in em'. so is it worth getting the Asus VG278H for the 3D? Or the upgrade in general? And will the GTX 580 be enough to play high end games like battlefield 3 and stuff like that on max, or should i wait for kepler?

Well, Ivy Bridge CPU's are pretty much around the corner, and Nvidia's GTX 6xx series are coming pretty soon as well. If I were you, I'd wait a little while. Your current rig is fast enough to run every game out there today still.
