Hi,

I'm trying to remove and replace the side rails on my 1991 Bally HD. How do
I remove the rails that are attached (pretty strongly) with tape? Don't
want to damage the glass guides or cabinet side. Any hints on how to do
this? I didn't see any tips at Mr. Pinball....

Thanks,
Dave

Dental floss.

Get it started between the cabinet and the railing first, then pull it along
while 'sawing' back and forth.
It's the same method people use to take the badges off cars. It works like
a charm!

I use a putty knife, hand strength, and patience. Takes about 5-10 minutes
per rail for removal.

Start at an end and remove from below to up under the rail.

You do not want to strip artwork from the cabinet below the rail.

Take your time.

Adi did a demo on his site for this. I think it's www.txpinball.com. when I
remove them I use a heat gun and a flxible putty knife.
start at the bottom and work you way to the top. work from the sides only.
sometimes they ome off with a good twist, you are thoing them away anyway.
